Head of the Tourism Department: "Collaborative Work is the key to the success of the Tourism Department program in Botutonuo Village"

Gorontalo - Department of Tourism, Faculty of Letters and Culture, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, implements a Tourism Course program for the community and restaurant managers in Botutonuo Tourism Village. This activity is also held to celebrate the 58th Universitas Negeri Gorontalo’s Dies Natalis. Dean, Vice Dean II, Village Aparatus, Head of Department, and lecturers in the Tourism Department were also present at the opening ceremony of the activity. The activity was held on Monday, September 20, 2021, in Botutonuo Village, Kabila Bone Subdistrict, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo.

Krishna Anugrah, as the Head of the Tourism Department, said that in this program, there is a cooperation that will be built between the Tourism Department and the Botutonuo Village Governance. Krishna hopes that the cooperation will go well. He also added that all parties need to be to achieve perfect outcomes.

This training program will be held for the next 1 year, and if the cooperation goes well, it will continue to be maximized for up to 3 years with terms and conditions. Krishna explained that this training would be directed to develop tourism potential further and improve tourism management in the village. "We hope that the training will be beneficial to both community and the village. We will also try to take advantage of the availability of natural resources (SDA) in this village to improve the tourism management," he concluded.
